I bought my first Black Beauty 10 years ago and have been tickled
ever since with it's performance. I now have 2 of them which I make my living
with everyday doing flatwork for residential and commercial. We love the T-handle
maneuverability, reduced low back strain and these units have doubled our productivity.
We went from 20 yards per hour to a little over 40 yards per hour, maxing out
at about 250 yards per day with much less fatigue issues. We bought our units
with the Tanaka engine option and mix our own fuel. These things just perform
everyday and keep performing.
Just recently we spent a couple of hundred dollars and rebuilt
these two workhorses and could not be happier with their performance. The machines
are quality built and reliable.

"While on a job, my Black Beauty was run over. The screed bar
was driven over by an F-250 while one side was resting on a 6-inch curb. The
bar is still in excellent condition. I couldn’t believe that I didn't
have to replace it. The only thing that needed to be replaced was the saddle
clamps, which were very reasonably priced. The claims you make about your equilateral
triangle bar being the strongest on the market, seems to hold quite true. I
can't imagine any of the competitors' equipment surviving an encounter with
a 5000+ pound truck!! Thank you for providing an exceptional product that holds
